SD State Fair

Over Labor Day weekend, the boys got to experience real life in South Dakota........they attended the South Dakota State Fair in Huron, SD. Grandpa Chris really wanted to go to the fair, (I think for the kettle corn) so both sets of Grandparents met at the fairgrounds for Evan and Jaden's first fair experience. Here's a collection of pictures from the day!

Evan and Jaden in a huge John Deer tractor. Maybe not next year, but the year after they'll be ready for haying season!

The boys were amazed at this horse Grandma Pam
found in the livestock nursery.

Evan really struggled to break free of his stroller and pet any animal he could potentially reach!

Yes, I made them take this picture:)

Oh the Dairy Barn!! For $2.00 you got a stamp and
could drink all of the milk (chocolate of course)
that you wanted all day!!

The boys lead the cheering section for Great-Aunt Bondell in the SD Beef Cook-Off! I even got interviewed regarding the nutrient benefits of lean beef!

Grandpa Al and Evan resting in the shade.
I should also note that it was SD Farmers Union Day at the fair. We ate lunch for just $1.00.
Yes, that is a total of $3 for food at the fair which included a complete lunch and unlimited milk!

Grandpa Chris giving Jaden a ride.
He doesn't sit still this long for me!
